Maureen has had three careers: a high school history teacher, a stay at home mom, and lastly a software developer for Ford Motor Credit Company.
A Rochester, New York native she lived in Colorado and Massachusetts before moving to Michigan. She earned a BA and MA in history and a MS in computer science and engineering.
Now retired, she volunteers in several community organizations and loves to travel. She visited Lebanon to evaluate the project A Vision for Clean Water helped sponsor to bring clean drinking water to all the public schools in the country. She has visited and lived in developing countries and understands first hand the importance of potable water. As AVFCW Board member, she is happy to spread the word about the organization and the need for clean water and sanitation.
