After a successful career in Marketing and Management at IBM, Patti turned her skills to develop a career in bridge and tourism. On a trip to Cambodia in 2011 the people and their country touched her heart so much, leading her to spend the years since fundraising and supporting her projects there.

Patti and her friend, Barbara Seagram, through their non-profit Banyan Tree, have contributed to 4 schools, hired 16 employees, and completed over 100 individual water projects, such as installing toilets and hand washing stations in government schools. The immersion in Cambodia has allowed Patti to learn first-hand about the absolute necessity for clean water, safe toilets, and all of the requirements for girls to stay in school.
