Over the past thirty years, Sue developed her accounting expertise as she worked as a Financial Controller for several companies, including their family business.
“I was in the workforce when the personal computer became of age. I had to go from keeping ledgers to learning computer language!” Sue also helps businesses with time management and organization. “I find ways to eliminate duplication of tasks to help streamline office procedures, thus saving time and money.” She started her own company, Accounting Logix, in 2010.
Sue was raised in an atmosphere of helping others and her community. She was a lifetime Girl Scout, and later on a G.S. Leader and Director for the City of Troy. That led her, and husband, Guy, to the Troy Rotary Club, where they hosted students from other countries, and helped fund-raise to eradicate Polio throughout the world.
Eileen and John Heasley were fellow Rotarians when Rotary International took on the Clean Water challenge. Eileen and John answered the call by starting A Vision for Clean Water. Through the Troy Rotary Club Sue and Guy have supported their efforts. “I am so excited to take an active part in AVFCW and help with the data administration, and in any other ways I can be of service.”
