Christ Our Light Catholic Church in conjunction with A Vision for Clean Water is hosting a World Water Day program on Sunday, March 22nd from 12:00pm ’til 2:00pm in the parish social hall following the 11:00am Mass. The Church is located at 3077 Glouchester corner of Coolidge in Troy.
The program will include activities of Youth Ministry and younger children. Speakers will give us information about the water problems of the world; including the fact that children and adults die everyday from water related illnesses. We will also learn of the successes benefiting many of the developing nations through demonstrations and displays of sanitation and water filters.
Wayne Titus will discuss water problems and solutions he has brought to El Salvador.
It will be an interesting and informative occasion for all ages. No charge, refreshments will be served.
