It's that time of year again, time for the AVFCW newsletter! This issue goes over our experience attending a water, sanitation, and hygiene conference held in Beirut, Lebanon. In February, A Vision for Clean Water Founder Eileen Heasley and Board Member Erica Gwynn were invited as panelist and keynote speaker respectively to the Rotary Presidential Conference on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Peace in Beirut. We are delighted that The Michigan Catholic website has published an article on the founders of AVFCW--Eileen and John Heasley--and how they came to start AVFCW and grow it into what it is today. Biosand Water Filters & More Workshop (4/19-22)

The next AVFCW workshop will be on Biosand Water Filters & More, and will be held from April 19th – 22nd, 2018 at the Columbiere Center in Clarkston, Michigan.

The biosand filter (BSF) is an effective and sustainable household-level safe drinking water solution. By the end of this workshop, you will have the necessary skills and knowledge to choose appropriate filter technology and to plan and implement a successful BSF project.
