As part of a Rotary District 6380 Grant, A Vision for Clean Water is hosting a “Think Tank” to discuss ways to increase long-term success for WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) projects. It will be held the day following the 3-day Latrine Workshop to allow the workshop attendees who have come from Kenya, Ecuador and Haiti plus others to participate. Please help us by passing the word to local WASH implementers.
- When: April 29th, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (lunch included)
- Cost: Free (please RSVP as soon as possible, as space is limited)
- Where: Columbiere Center in Clarkston, Michigan
The Think Tank will bring together stakeholders (implementers, funders, end-users, and educators) to share their experience on the different elements of a project – such as technology selection, community engagement, identifying priorities, budget, available tools, and what sets a project up for success or failure. And, importantly, how to define success or failure. The exchange of experience and thoughts will question the value of a Water Safety Plan (WSP) and how WSPs can be applied to all scales of projects.
You do not need to be a participant of our Latrine Workshop to attend—just RSVP below as soon as possible to make sure your spot is reserved.
